- Create Your UKVI Account for Students: Soon after visa approval, follow the email instructions from UKVI to set up your personal UKVI account. It’s your gateway to the UK student visa eVisa.
- Access and Activate Your eVisa: Log in, confirm your details are correct, and ensure they reflect your passport number.
- Link Your Travel Document: Ensure your passport is linked to your eVisa in the account before travelling. If you renew your passport, update the account immediately.
- Share Your Status with Your University: Get a share code (with your date of birth) from your UKVI account to give to your education provider; they need it to confirm your right to be in the UK.
- Travel Only when You’re Fully Set: You cannot board your flight unless your eVisa is activated and linked. Airlines and border officials will verify your digital status.
